Dr. Trey Waltman is a native of Mobile. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 2011 where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. While attending college he lettered in baseball all four years receiving C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Dr. Waltman has always known he wanted to be in the medical field. After shadowing his family dentist Dr. Jim Blackman it was clear that the Dental field is where God was leading him. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 2018 from the University of Alabama in Birmingham where he was awarded American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award of Merit.
Continuing to learn and grow in the field of Dentistry is important to Dr Waltman. He is committed to providing his patients with the most innovative care in a faith based practice. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association and is currently serving on the board of the Mobile Dental Society. He is also proud to serve as a Captain in the United States Air Force Dental Corps.
Dr. Waltman is married to his high school sweet-heart, Courtney Moore, and together they have two children, Griffin and Ella Reese. They are members of Dayspring Baptist church where they serve with the children’s ministry. When he is not doing dentistry he enjoys exercising, hunting, boating and spending time with his family.
